The Founder

Denise Spanek, Air Repair Skincare's founder has passionately dedicated her career to finding highly effective skin and beauty products. She has flown to many parts of the world in search of these brands. Her mission has taken her to the souks of Marrakesh and to chic Paris boutiques. Spanek is an expert aesthetician with over 20 years of experience, offering these products and services at her San Francisco beauty atelier, Visage Studio. A talented TV and film make-up artist, Spanek has worked with high profile celebrities and VIP clients.

The Air Repair Skincare Kit and brand are the result of Spanek wanting to combat the negative effects of travel on her own skin. "I was tired of arriving at my destinations looking like a Shar Pei! I figured if I felt this way, many others did as well", Spanek says. The Air Repair Kit combines skincare products specifically designed to help alleviate the dry, dulling effects of not only aircraft cabin air, but changes in the environment that travel and unfamiliar climates generally bring, including lack of humidity, and poor air and water quality.

Spanek has worked with exclusive luxury skincare brands for many years and knows what makes a product highly effective. She has worked with one of the best chemists in the industry, spending over a year testing combinations of ingredients to find effective, safe and petroleum, mineral oil and paraben free products.

A former marathon runner, Spanek is passionate, tenacious and driven, which is evident in her pursuit of perfection whether she is developing her own products or looking for a new line. Every detail is important. Health and beauty are paramount and she never sacrifices one for the other. She makes sure to take care of herself with a daily yoga and exercise. Balance is the key to her success and is also evident in Visage Studio and her Air Repair Skincare products.

Her goal? Globally good skin!
